Holy Bible
I’ll admit it. I’m a bit of a perfectionist. Okay, I’m a LOT of one. I am not satisfied with just having an answer. I want the right answer.
What good is an answer if it isn’t the proper one? Sure, everybody’s got a different perspective, but sometimes there are right ways and wrong ways to do things. Other times any strategy will work fine. The trick comes in knowing which is what. But still, I like knowing that I’m not way off-track.
I’ve found a way to help me out with this perfectionism of mine. I started reading the ancient scriptures. Okay, you can laugh. Go ahead, get it over with. I don’t mind.
But honestly, it’s helped me. Mellowed me a little. Made me less frustrating to live with. I’m not as uptight as I used to be. My husband thinks that’s wonderful. . .
And I’m a little more certain on some things I was fuzzy about before. Like what is okay to do, and when . . . And like being a nicer person, instead of always worrying about getting everything perfect.
Hey, if the Bible can do that for me – I wonder what it might do for you? Who doesn’t want to be a nicer person, anyway?
